Bought a 337RLS in October and when we did the walk through found a couple of issue. First, the door covering the switch panel was warped and the mattress was NOT a pillow top.

Made mention with dealer, notes made, pictures taken and told they would get in touch with Grand Design. We received no notice so I emailed Grand Design. What I was told was the pillow top mattress is not what I think it would be (our mattress is thin and no pillow top just a plain mattress you can buy for around $130 if buying for home). The door nothing.

Went back to dealer. They looked up info and after finding that we did have a open claim for the item said they would get in touch with Grand Design. That was January 2 and here we are still no answer.

I paid damn good money for the fifth wheel and only ask for what I was promised when I purchased the RV and good customer service to come through and correct what is wrong. I need a door that is Not warped and a true pillow top mattress

Reason of review: Not as described/ advertised.

Just that WE HAVE THE WORST CAMPER WE HAVE EVER HAD. We sold our house and bought a 2018 Reflection bed was thin as paper.

Awning crocked and bent, too crushing split with 3" knife cut. Screen door broken, saw dust fall out I to couch when we stop glass on stove broken. I could go on but why, Campers Inn in Tucker Ga, want fix anything and warranty want fix, no mention on DAF , now what do u do.

Turning them into BBB but who ever checks that. What is a person to do

You accept no responsibility for any of this? This is everyone else's fault right?

You play no part? You bought a new Trailer, and accepted delivery of a new trailer, with known problems. And now that you are being brushed off, it's everyone else's fault?1) Most Dealerships are sleazy. Correction, most Auto Dealers are Sleazy. The Vast Majority of RV dealers are certainly Sleazy.

Even the so called "Good ones" are not above sticking it to an easy mark. I submit that you are gullible.2) If you removed the RV from the lot with Known Issues, You are definitely part of the problem.3) If you paid in full for the RV before you ever got to look at it and inspect it, you are definitely part of the problem.4) If your dealer didn't give you a satisfactory PDI , to YOUR satisfaction, and you took it off the lot, YOU are definitely to part of the problem. You know how you deal with a dealer that is pushy, and uses guilt tactics, gas lights you, or gives you an attitude with ANY PART of the sale, now matter how much of a Pain in the Butt you MIGHT be??? You Tell that dealer to drive their trailer straight up their rectum, and you walk out.

Even if you have to give up a few hundred dollars in down payment, you give up the down payment and never go back or look back. This is not a GD problem. This is very much YOUR problem.

Sounds like Eric is working for the manufacturers...He excuses their shoddy workmanship and parts and thinks it's up to the consumer, who is not a trailer mechanic, to inspect, repair and replace items ourselves just because "they" can't build a reliable unit. The lots know they are selling junk, so they are to blame as well.

It's a shame the Betty Ford Centers are closed down. Eric sounds like he could use a rehab tune-up. Whiskey-fueled responses are SO impressive!

It sounds to me like your dealer is not following up or through with your claim. Even if Grand Design spent $1000.00 on a mattress 50% of people would still complain.

Some people want them firm and some want them soft. You knew what the mattress was when you bought the coach too right? That is something that you can negotiate when you buy it if you wanted. I did when I bought my trailer.

I have owned 13 RV's now and am on my second Grand Design.

I have had issues with dealers and other manufacturers but Grand Design is the biggest breath of fresh air for the RV industry. I got better service from Grand Design then we did with a $400,000.00 Tiffin Motorhome!Even when you buy a house things will go wrong....

Bought through internet. Told what I wanted and was promised that I would get it.

Walk through I told them about mattress so I have a damn right to complain. You promise something then you do it.
