This is our 2nd GD. We bought a 315RLST 2016 Manufacturer date year model 2017.

We sold bc so long we often had a hard getting sites. Now a 2021 Imagine 2670mk. BOY oooo Boy.. GD was bought by winnebago in 2017 the quality of their units s@c#..

we have has & still have to many issues... I WILL NEVER buy GD again...

We are actually considering selling Imagine & buying something else.. Good Luck to everyone...

We bought a Grand Design RLS Reflection in June 2018. The flaws we had include a toilet valve leak, *** in the awning, a torn belt in the electric fireplace, a pinched gas line to our stove resulting in only one burner at a time being usable,wood trim fell off the trim around one of the slides, a stuck open black water drain valve and a broken hinge on the outside kitchen cabinet.There were a couple other minor problems.

Warranty covered these things.

The DVD player seems to disconnect briefly during playback but this has not been fixed. We like the camper but are getting worried with "what's next?" now that warranty has expired.

Defective RV and poor service

2021 M381 continues to break since new 10months ago. Dealer and manufacturer does not stand behind their product. Costly travel to and from the dealer going on 5th time now for service but problems still persist. One issue broke since new and now dealer and manufacturer pointing the finger at each other with no resolution for the the customer. Terrible service and terrible RV.

Water leak and frost

i have water coming into the toy garage on the left side and also have frost in corner of slid out in bathroom called the dealer and they can't get me in till the end of Oct. but the problem is i live in this year round and i need skirting on it by then. they told me to get ahold of you. Our 2019 Grand Design Reflection 303RLS Roof was cut too short. The roof was not tucked under the front cap and secured by the transition properly. Needless to say, the rubber roof separated from the camper. Turned into a big parachute. Grand Design declined to replace itheitroof

Poor customer service

Ordered a J Wrap part in June on my 2020 28BH, and I am going to have to wait until late September because they tell me they can't get their supplier to produce the part. They also will not pull from the production line to fill a repair order. Simply put, they want to see a new rig vs servicing their current customers. Figures that they would put their profits above customer service.

User's recommendation: Do not buy if you ever expect to order parts from them it will not be a pleasant experience.

In the first 18 months of ownership we have had more things stop working or fall apart on our 202* ***Reflection than the Winnebago we had for 20+ years. Cabinet doors split and fell apart, stabilizer motor stopped working, awning motor died, roof leaked, front jack stopped working, lights blinking, dark water valve jammed open. This is set up at a permanent site and gets used on weekends as a getaway.

Poor help with problems

The Rockford Fosgate punch amps get way too hot and the sub woofers make no sound. Outside sub melted down and manufacturer cant help me with why, is this a fire hazard?? Dealer was useless and manufacturer has no clue or even a wiring diagram. Ever look at the concealed under compartment, what jumbled mess of wires and ducts, horrible quality for the money paid. Totally useless documentation provided. If I could get my money back I would

Defective installation of roof membrane.

Buyer beware!! We bought a little used 2019 Imagine by Grand Design. The trailer has been parked under cover. On a recent trip the roof membrane separated from the roof and needs to be completely replaced at a costs of $10k. Grand Design opted to provide no assistance in the repair of the roof of a 2 year old trailer after indicating they may participate when the conversation about this issue began. No explanation. Just another large company giving the middle finger to the consumer. Brutal customer service.

Disappointed customer

I purchased a 2021 Imagine 2670MK. I've used it for two months. The water heater already quit working. I'm out of town with no vehicle, or time, to tow it to a dealer. I'll have to pay a mobile repair business to take care of it. My whole crew lives in campers during the work season. We now know not to buy Grand Design. My 20 year old prowler is a better trailer.

Furnace quit working and I keep getting the run around.

So far capitol rv in Bismarck and minot north Dakota suck. Can't get any service to save my life. Furnace broke down. Was told my warranty expired in Oct. 2020. the handbook says 2 year warranty. Which is it? Why can't I get anybody to help me?

I have had my Momentium at Mike Thompson for repair since May 4th.They say they can't get parts for frig and other issues. I can't believe Grand Design tolerates this. We have missed 2 PLANNED campouts due to this. Wish I could get someone to help me but so far no one seems to care campouts

Unhappy with air conditioning in 2021 GD Imagine XLS 22MLE

Outside temp 86 deg. Trailer inside 84 deg. Set thermostat to 74 deg. and put on Hi Cool. Came back to trailer in 1 hour and it was 82 deg. Shut down and about a liter of water came down the gutter - unit froze up. Another day, i/s 80 degrees; set thermostat to 74 deg. After 1 hour, temp was 78 deg and waited another 1/2 hr and temp was 80 deg. Unit wouldn't cool. Again, a/c froze up. Has happened 5x. Dealer not able to check coolant in unit or suggest a repair
