I have a 2014 273RES 5th Wheel that we use 2 to 3 times a year. In October the RV when back to the dealer for an inspection like it does every year and they told me that the roof was bobbling up.
The dealer felt that it was a defective roof and Grand Design was having this problems with there RV's. The dealer contacted the factory and they authorized to get a new roof. This month we use our RV for a small trip and when we open the RV I notice that something was wrong with the furniture. The so call leather on the cough and recliner were falling apart the wood trim is falling apart, the out side step in shipping etc.
Since we have owned this RV we have only use it about 12 to 15 times and the RV is covered the hold time with a Sumbrella cover that we had made for it. We spoke to the dealer about the problems of our RV and they said that there customer were having allot of problems with the furniture and roofs. They suggested that we called Grand Design and see how they could help us. It funny the RV still smell like new.
I want them to replace the furniture free of charge because it is defective and they know it. They are giving us the run around for the last few day. I have been an RV owner for the last 30 years and I have never had so much problems with an RV. Let see what customer service Grand Design has I have sent allot of customers there way in the last few years.
This need to be corrected by Grand Design. This problems with the furniture are all over the internet lots of people are having problems with it so as the roofs.
